December 21, 2014 - Feeding Program

This kid during today's feeding program really touched my heart.

He was a 10 year old child who grew up in the streets. His clothes were tattered and his hair was quite long. He's a kind of boy that gave off this bad boy aura yet what he did was not something you'd expect.

While we were giving away some bags filled with food, school supplies and slippers, my friends and I looked around to see if everybody got their bags and checked if the slippers fit. This boy caught our attention. He was surprised to see a pink pair of slippers in his bag. We insisted to change his slippers since we saw quite a disappointment in his face. We asked ate Gina to change it into a different color, so she gave us a pair of orange slippers to give to the boy.

We asked him to fit the pair of slippers and it turns out that the slippers did not fit. Upon realizing that the slippers did not fit him, he simply said, "Ako lang ni ihatag sa akong manghud te. Sakto ni niya." And he gave off this big smile on his face. It was then that I realized that even children make sacrifices and that there is still hope for humanity.

My Year Ahead Reading (Fortune Telling)

on Sunday, April 7, 2013
Well, today, I decided to try some online fortune telling and well I got these results (Shown below). Let's see it they come true ^^

May
Loon

Loons mate for life, and their medicine is about loyalty, family, and deep caring for one another. If you're experiencing a relationship fraught with power struggles, you are NOT practicing Loon medicine. If your relationship has BECOME a power struggle, Loon has appeared to remind you that this is a time of equal sharing and equal happiness. Something is amiss and Loon thinks you already know what it is.
June
Beaver

Beaver may be one of the hardest working animals on the planet. Beaver is attuned to both earth and water medicine, and is strongly attached to home and family. Beaver appears in your reading to remind you that sometimes there's no substitute for hard work. Make a plan, create a solid foundation, then take the next indicated step.
July
Badger

Badger is a ferocious opponent, unwilling to back down over any issue. Unfortunately, this unwavering stance leads some Badgers to their demise. If Badger has dug into your reading, he is asking whether you are fighting the right fight. Is this issue the hill you’re willing to die on, or are you fighting for no other reason than pure stubbornness? Think about it.
August
Porcupine

Porcupine has appeared in your reading today to bring a message of innocence and trust. Although Porcupine can throw quills when cornered, he is gentle, loving, and non-aggressive. Is there an area of your life that need Porcupine energy? Have you lost the ability to trust??
September
Hawk

Hawk flies into your reading today to bring you an important message. It may come in the mail, e-mail, a casual remark at the grocery store, a randomly selected page in a book, or even a phrase heard on the radio. Be alert, as hawk messages can sometimes be delivered in a subtle fashion.
October
Green Woman

Green Woman has magically floated into your life to remind you of the energy of fertility--fertility for a project, a garden, a love affair or conception. If there is fertile ground, it WILL bear fruit. Green Woman encourages you to practice your own brand of magic, and to appreciate the talents you have that will, in the near future, give birth to a magical creation.
November
Cougar

Cougar has long been associated with leadership. Cougars are powerful, agile, and unhesitating. When Cougar attacks, he throws one hundred percent of himself into the pursuit. Although cougar is strong, he is also elusive —hard to spot in the wild—until he decides to pounce. His lesson to you today is one of being a balanced leader—not rushing into the attack, not always lurking in the brush.
December
Cardinal

Wake up! Cardinal is chirping at you—bringing a message of personal power. Stop shrinking from your destiny. Stop pretending that you are less than. If you are unsure of your path, ask Cardinal to fly with you—it’s certain he will help you focus, gain clarity, formulate a plan, become self-assured, and step out into the world with the confidence befitting a person of your power.
January
Bat

Bat’s internal radar is exceptionally attuned—is yours? Because Bat medicine is the medicine of transformation, he is asking you to re-examine your life to determine (using all of your senses) what is worth keeping and what needs to be discarded. For every death there is a rebirth and Bat is here to help you decide what goes and what stays.
February
Green Man

Green Man peers out of the foliage to remind you that not all of life's mysteries have logical solutions. Be open to magical opportunities, spirit allies, and unconventional paths. Get out into the wilderness, ground yourself in meditation, and listen for Green Man's wisdom. You may just catch sight of him eyeing you in his leafy camouflage.
March
Antelope

Antelope medicine is one of right action. If you were to visit Northern Plains today, you would see groups of antelope scattered about the fields and hills. However they are so quiet and unmoving that (from a distance) they resemble stones. But, get too close and they move like lightening. Antelope asks you: are you being still when you should be moving, or moving when stillness is required?
April
Turkey

Has turkey gobbled his way into your life today? If so he brings a message of sacrificing for the greater good. To some indigenous tribes, Turkey represents the spirit of the giveaway--a ceremony where those who have more give to those who have less, thus "sacrificing" for others. If Turkey

The Highlight of My September

October 25, 2012

September is the month we celebrate our school's Intramurals. September was one of the busiest months for us. We had a lot of activities to prepare for and every afternoon, we would practice our dance for the Dance Palabas Competition to be held on September 20. I was so excited since it was my first time to compete in such competitions.

The days went by and September 20 came nearer and nearer. We practiced a lot and harder every single day and prepared everything for the competition. Then, the day of the competition finally arrived. We gave it our all and everything we had done had finally paid off.

We also had some sports games. We had soccer kick for girls and soccer for boys, basketball boys, volleyball boys and volleyball girls. It was really fun.

Anyway, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow dancers, classmates, family and teachers who have made these affairs a success.

I would also like to thank my loyal readers and supporters. Thanks a lot guys! :)

Catching Up

October 20, 2012

Hey! It's me. It has been a long time since my last post. I was very busy at that moment, so there's what's new about me during the month of September.

As you might not know, September is the Math, Science and Technology week at my school. I was the host of our Math and Science Quiz Bee. I had such a fun time hosting the show with my co-host. I was also a contestant but too bad I was not able to win. Anyway, everything comes in the right time.

I was also one of the station masters of the Math and Science trail. The Math and Science trail has 13 stations. Each station has a specific task to complete in order to get a certain amount of chips. The group with the most number of chips, wins. So as a station master, I am one of the students who will give away the chips. I had a lot of fun and I was able too meet and mingle with new people.

Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH for continuing to support my blog. When I opened my blog today, I was so surprised to see 187 page reviews in one day. Thanks a lot guys! And even though I was not able to blog for more than a month, Thank you for not leaving me guys and thanks for reading and checking on my blog.

HAVE A GREAT DAY READERS! :)

Fingers Crossed

August 8, 2012

Hey guys! What's up? It's been a long day and I really am tired. Today was harsh. I needed to cope up with a lot of school work. And just as I thought the day couldn't get any worse, I just figured out that I had lost my folder containing my project. I really hope that someone found it and return it tomorrow. Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Tomorrow's baking day. I really hope that our cookies will turn out great. Yummy and deserving of an +A. I am also hoping that I will be able to pass the tests to be given on Friday.

Tomorrow's Thursday, P.E day. I am so happy because I will have to bring only two books tomorrow. A little less things to bring. Yeheey! :)

Anyway, I'm hoping that tomorrow will turn out great. Keeping my Fingers Crossed. :)

GOOD NIGHT READERS! :)

Feeling Better?

August 7, 2012

Hi there fellas! I'm back! And never better. Well, I had to miss class today and rest but it wasn't that big of a deal. I'm going back to school tomorrow and I also need to catch up on some school work.

Anyway, I'm so happy to see that my blogs have so many viewers and readers. I really hope that this continues. I'm also happy to read some of your comments and private messages and I promise that I'll try my best to answer all of them. I also hope that you will invite more readers to read my blogs and I'll really try to inspire more people.

I also came across a very disturbing news today. I had seen in the news that some parts of the Philippines are experiencing floods and that citizens are having a very hard time and they need help. I really hope that you will help me in praying for their safety and that the weather will be better.

That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by. :)
